WELCOME TO THE CZECH FILM COMMISSION WEBSITE
This site aims to provide useful information to filmmakers planning to shoot in the Czech Republic. If you haven’t filmed here before, check out the WHY THE CZECH REPUBLIC and LOCATIONS sections to get a preview of what Prague and the Czech Republic have to offer. Also, you can find out who’s in town on location or in studio shoots by looking at the IN PRODUCTION section. The CONTACT DATABASE in the section Czech Film Industry Directoryis is primarily intended for filmmakers who are planning a film project in the Czech Republic. You will find LISTINGS of local film professionals, companies and useful services.
Location Tour
'The End of the Cold War' is not a Hollywood movie — at least, not yet — but the first-ever joint mission of the Czech Film Commission and the FFF Film Commission Bayern. On June 10, filmmakers from the Czech Republic and Germany will spend the day touring locations on both sides of the Czech-German border, visiting former military installations along what was once the Iron Curtain.
Lights! Camera! Prague! - Film Map
Czech Film Commission, in collaboration with Prague City Hall, has published a “film map” of Prague, identifying the locations of scenes from big foreign films shot in the capital.
