The Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI) is the official professional organization for film commissioners who assist film, television and video production throughout the world. It is a non-profit educational association whose members serve as city, county, state, regional, provincial or national film commissioners for their respective governmental jurisdictions.

The Czech Film Center was established in 2002. The main goal and content of the CFC’s activities are the promotion of Czech cinematography and film industry abroad.
The main aim of CzechTourism, founded in 1993, is promotion of Czech Republic as an attractive tourist destination, home and abroad. Recently, CzechTourism joined forces with Czech Film Commission in their efforts to attract foreign filmmakers to Czech Republic.
