2015 has been a successful year for Czech filmmakers. More than 20 international projects have been filmed in the Czech Republic — among them some big TV series, European co-productions, and American blockbusters.
The Czech Film Commission has been promoting the country as an attractive film destination since 2004, and has contributed considerably to the Czech film industry’s current success.
The Commission presents the Czech Republic and its infrastructure at major events such as the European Film Market at the Berlinale, at the Marché du Film in Cannes, at the AFCI Locations Show in Los Angeles, and now also at FOCUS – The Location Production Event, which takes place in London 14-15 December 2015.

“FOCUS is the first location and production market in Europe organized for film and television, as well as for commercials producers, location scouts, production managers, representatives of studios, postproduction and other companies connected with audiovisual production,” says Nela Cajthamlová, who represents Czech Film Commission in London.
“Our exposition at FOCUS in London is supported by the CzechTourism agency, Karlovy Vary region and Prague branch of CzechTourism. They all will present Czech locations, great film infrastructure and of course the incentives,” she adds.
