Czech Film Commission to Attend Shooting Locations Marketplace in Valladolid for the First Time

This year, the Czech Film Commission will participate for the first time in the prestigious promotional event Shooting Locations Marketplace, held on October 15–16, 2025 at the Feria de Valladolid in Spain. Unlike traditional trade fairs with exhibition booths, this event features a unique format of pre-arranged B2B meetings, bringing together international film professionals—producers, studio representatives, streaming platforms, and location scouts and managers—with film commissions and institutions from around the world.

67 international film professionals have confirmed their attendance, and Czech Film Commission’s location specialist Petra Marková is selecting meeting partners from among them. Confirmed participants include professionals connected to Marvel, Netflix, Apple TV+, and Warner Bros., with credits on projects such as Loki Season 2, Squid Game, Secret Invasion, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, and The Odyssey.

The goal of the Czech Film Commission’s participation is to promote the Czech Republic as an ideal destination for filming and audiovisual production, showcasing Czech locations, studios, professionals, and attractive incentives of 25–35% to major players in the global film industry.

This is the fourth international promotional event for the Czech Film Commission this year, accompanied by online and print advertising campaigns. In addition to these in-person activities abroad, the Czech Film Commission also launches geo-targeted online ads on its social media platforms several times a year.
