Israeli Film festival KOLNOA in Prague

Israeli Film Festival KOLNOA bears in its name the Hebrew word for film or cinematography. Established in 2017, it has become the leading film festival for Israeli film in the Czech Republic. It brings both newly released and classic Israeli films, including features and documentaries. It offers a variety of accompanying events such as lectures, Israeli Film School presentations and short films, Hebrew language lessons, and many more. Festival cooperates with other Jewish and Israeli Film Festivals within Europe.

We are presenting films which we commonly don´t encounter in the regular Czech film distribution, but we aim to bring Israeli films to Czech cinemas and we are trying to set up Czech-Israeli film cooperation and help to create Czech-Israeli coproductions.
