Mannschaft

Founded in 2017 and based in Prague, Mannschaft is an independent Czech production and distribution company.

We focus on producing short and feature-length documentaries, fiction, and experimental films, with a strong emphasis on debut directors and distinctive voices. We collaborate with filmmakers who bring bold, original approaches to storytelling and visual style, with the aim of creating films that resonate with contemporary and socially relevant themes.

In distribution, we specialize in mid-length and feature documentaries, which we bring to audiences through event screenings in cinemas, galleries, and site-specific spaces, often combining film with discussion and context.

Our films have been recognized at festivals such as Jihlava IDFF, One World, Pragueshorts, Finále Plzeň, Krakow Film Festival, and Film Festival Cottbus, earning two Czech Lion Awards and nominations along the way.

We bring together international vision and local expertise, with strong experience in Czech and European film funds, broadcasters, and co-production partnerships. Our focus is on building creative collaborations that resonate across borders.
