The MGM/Columbia Pictures production begins shooting in January 2006 and is due for release worldwide on November 17, 2006. Most of the film will be shot in the Czech Republic with additional photography in the Bahamas, Italy and the UK. “We are excited to be working with producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions on the new Bond picture and bringing the production to the Czech Republic. This is an important step for us as well as the local film community, said Matthew Stillman, Stillking Film's  Managing Director. Casino Royale reunites Wilson and Broccoli with Martin Campbell, who directed the 1995 Bond blockbuster Goldeneye. His most recent film, The Legend of Zorro, will be released on October 28, 2005.
