Charlotte Vacková is a Czech film director and content creator based in Prague. She holds an MA in Film Directing from Screen Academy Scotland (Edinburgh Napier University) and graduated from FAMU (2025). Her short film Forbidden (2024) has screened at 55+ festivals with 25+ awards, including Best Female Director. Her experimental horror Liquid Soul screened at 80+ festivals, including Cannes.
She is a member of ASFAV (Czech Association for Film and Audiovisual Education), serves on the selection committee of the Bay Film Festival International in Morecambe (3rd consecutive year), and is a lecturer in film education accredited by the Czech Ministry of Education.
She creates film content as @charlotte_shoots on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and co-runs Chapelier — a photo and video production studio in Prague.
