I am a Czech cinematographer, born in 1993, working since 2013. I made 9 full-feature documentaries for cinemas. Premiered at Visions du Réel, Cottbus, Ji.hlava, KVIFF, Finale Pilsen, Fipadoc, Al Jazeera Film Festival, Jean Rouch Paris, and One World Film Festival. Collected several prizes from those festivals.
Won Best Documentary Cinematography 2021 for Excellent camera work of the year from AČK Czech Society of Cinematographers (Czech analogy of ASC).
I am focused on social justice, interrupted connection with nature, and human rights. It is important for me to keep the enviroment in mind when shooting.
I am decisive and I can guide 30+ people on a set and light an advertisement outside or at studio. But I prefer to work in a smaller crew abroad having an adventure. I love to spend time in nature, get to know natives, and look people in the eyes. Tell a story that matters.
I don't make it easy for myself, but if you are on the same vibe, I am looking for international cooperation. I am also ready for a full feature. See ya!
